Uniting Paintballers for Breast Cancer Research Foundation "The Cancer Shootout"

Welcome to our paintball charity event. Come out and have fun while raising much-needed funds for breast cancer research.  The Philadelphia Paintball Group and UnitedPaintballers.com will be hosting 2 charity event paintball games to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research in October 2008.  To view flyers for these events click here.

On October 11, 2008 and October 25, 2008, there will be charity paintball games to benefit breast cancer research.  The event on October 11^th will be at Capt'n Carl's Paintball in Aston Pa, and the event on October 25^th will be at Lehigh Valley South Paintball(LVP) in Hatfield, Pa.  Even if you cannot attend the events, donations to help out will be accepted via the website Unitedpaintballers.com.  At both events you will be able to play one game (woods ball), three games (speedball), half day, or full day. We will have an attack and defend game at LVP South as the same time as the charity event. This event will support the experienced scenario players while still providing games for first timer players supporting the charity.

Pricing for the day will be as follows:

We will have two types of paint. They are $50 & $55 per case. There is also paint available for $15 per bag (500 ct) . It will cost $20 to rent markers including air and mask. The field does offer additional clothing so as not to ruin anything you are already wearing.

"One Game Package"

For just one game, it is $15 with rental and one hopper full of paint. If after one game you decide you need more of a rush then you can always upgrade your package to the half-day plan for an additional $25. This package is great for introducing someone new to the sport.

"Shoot Out Package"

We will also be offering a three game tournament package. Three speedball games with rental marker, full hopper, and a bag of 500 balls for $30. You will be able to purchase an extra paint with this package. This package is great for settling rivalries. IE: The bosses VS staff, one staff VS another staff.

"Half Day Package"

This is for the player with limited time, it's $15 with your own equipment.

"Hard Core Player"

This is for the dedicated paintballers that want to play all day, it's $25 with your own equipment.

There will also be our shooting gallery. This will be for those who want to shoot at something and not be shot at. So please tell your friends and family and bring as many people as you can. Remember this is for charity.

Do you require your own equipment to play?

No. The field will have all equipment needed to play. Please wear appropriate attire. IE: Sneakers or boots, long pants (not shorts).

Will there be food available?

There will be limited food including hotdogs, bottled water, and snacks. All profits from the sale of refreshments go towards the charity.

Can I upgrade my game registration from one game to all day if I want to play more?

Yes you can. If you purchase the one game (woods ball) or three game (speedball) package you can upgrade to the all day package.

What is the age limit for someone to play at the event?

The youngest that you can be is 13 with parental consent.

How much of the money is going to be donated to the charity?

All profit from the paint sales, raffles, food ect. will be going to the charity.

How do I volunteer to support the event if I do not play paintball?

Email us through our “contact us” link and we will let respond to you within 24 hours.

Can I make donations to the charity without playing?

Yes. We have set up the ability to make donation on our site by going to the “make a donation” link.

             For every player who plays at our breast cancer research event you will be entered to win a chance to play with the professional paintball team The Jersey Authority. You will also be able to play with a few other pro teams that will be practicing before their next big tournament!!

            Can't make it to the event then check out the links below and for a $5 donation you can still be entered to win.

             Who wins? Well, you and three friends get a full back stage pass to meet many of the pro players, watch them practice, get tips and ideas as well as receive paintball jersey's autographed by the pros. Want to try your luck against a pro player? Then don't forget to bring your gear to the practice. You will get the chance to play right alongside and against them.

            October 11^th 2008 is the first event at Captain Carl's Paintball field located in Ashton, Pa. and the second event is at L.V.P. South in Hatfield, Pa.

            This is our 2^nd annual breast cancer paintball charity event. All proceeds go to fight the battle to find the cure for breast cancer. Prices, prizes and the good times can be found at these awesome links. Thank you for your continued support!
