On early Sunday morning Sean Cross a 17 year old star athlete and his friend were riding their bikes home when they were shot at violently with paintball markers. According to Sean and his friend the people who shot at them pulled up along side in a dark minivan. The two teens were shot at around 40 times at close range. One paintball hit Sean Cross in the eye. The damage was so bad his eye had to be surgically removed. Sean was the starting pitcher for Lincoln High School baseball team and will likely not be able to pitch again. The shooting happened near the 6800 block of Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia.
